Sicard Pottery
Since 1890 the Louis Sicard faïence has been part of the long cultural tradition in Provence. The white clay used to manufacture of the crockery is most carefully selected and the enamels, mixed without lead, give added sunshine to tables and decoration. Now greater than 100 years old, the "Louis Sicard" signature always guarantees the authenticity, demanding standard and precision of this master of the faïence art. Each piece is entirely hand decorated and is unique.

Faiencerie d'Art Breton
Quimper, a name known for generations among collectors of folk pottery, continues to be made today in the sea side village of Quimper in the province of Brittany, France. Using the essential elements of water, earth, and fire, this faience has been continuously produced in Quimper dating back to the 17th century. Today's artisans, working as their ancestors, are inspired by the rich and varied culture of Britanny and apply these images to their art. Employing the traditional method of painting by hand and the famous "coup de pinceau" brushwork continues today. The Faiencerie d'Art Breton is directed today by descendents of Quimper's foremost faiencerie families. Their faience holds an intangible quality unrivaled by any other.
